What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Transit Refrigeration?
We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team! We are a mobile repair shop specializing in reefer repair.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, work independently
- Preventative maintenance services
- Thorough inspections and related repairs
- Use diagnostic tools to test systems
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanic, 2 years preferred but can train if needed
- Possess own hand tools
- 608/609 certification or willingness to obtain one
- Document failures of equipment and repairs completed
- Valid WDL and clean driving record
Pay commensurate with experience and in keeping with industry standards
