Position Overview
Transit & Flow is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to lead daily field operations and serve as the connection between dispatch and field technicians.
This role ensures service jobs move efficiently from scheduling through completion while maintaining strong operational standards and a consistent customer experience.
We are looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond, identify opportunities for improvement, and give the team direction and structure rather than waiting to be told what to do. As a startup environment, this role will require flexibility and the ability to support non-traditional responsibilities as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field operations and support technicians in the field
- Coordinate closely with dispatch to maintain an efficient dispatch board and technician schedule
- Monitor job progress and ensure service calls move from scheduling through completion
- Ensure service documentation is completed accurately, including before and after photos, job notes, and customer approvals
- Confirm technicians follow company procedures for service documentation and payment collection when applicable
- Support technicians in resolving operational challenges or customer service issues
- Maintain clear communication between technicians, dispatch, and leadership
- Provide operational guidance and coaching to technicians when needed
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements that strengthen efficiency and service quality
- Help maintain a professional and consistent customer service experience on every job
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience supervising field technicians or service teams with a degree, or 6 years of supervisory experience without a degree
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- Experience working in field services, home services, construction operations, or technical service environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple technicians and service calls throughout the day
- Comfortable working in a startup environment that requires initiative, adaptability, and ownership
