Duties
- Clear and reset tables swiftly, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area for guests.
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper food handling and cleaning techniques.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and basic plating support when needed.
- Support catering and banquet events by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in event spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and service areas by adhering to sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service during busy hours.
- Follow safety protocols related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment use to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or catering is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies.
