What You'll Be Doing
- Planting, transplanting, and maintaining flowers, plants, and greenhouse/nursery stock
- Installing landscape design elements including steel edging, retaining walls, and custom hardscape features
- Planting and installing trees, shrubs, and Texas-native plants according to design plans
- Running and spreading mulch and decorative rock
- Building and installing rock gardens,drainage systems, fences, and planters
- Operating power tools and landscape machinery safely, with proper protective gear
- Assisting with carpentry work — framing, decking, and structural elements
- Assisting with masonry work — stone, block, and paver installation
- Installing and maintaining irrigation/watering systems
- Learning new skills and taking on more responsibility with hands-on training
- Trimming and pruning hedges, trees, and shrubs
- Safely operating landscape machinery with proper protective gear
- Learning new skills and taking on more with hands-on training
What We're Looking For
- Experience in any combination of lawn care, carpentry, masonry, gardening, welding, or general landscaping
- A team player who's coachable and eager to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Honesty, integrity, efficiency, and accountability
- Able to lift 125 lbs or more
- Willing to work in all seasons
- Committed to growing with the company long-term
- Heavy machinery experience is a big plus
