Transformed Builders is seeking a reliable and hardworking Skilled Construction Laborer to join our growing construction team. This position plays an important role in supporting residential remodeling and construction projects by assisting our project managers and skilled tradespeople in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, safety-focused, and takes pride in doing quality work. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects while continuing to develop construction skills and grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily jobsite preparation, setup, cleanup, and organization.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with residential remodeling projects.
- Perform demolition, material handling, framing support, drywall repairs, painting, flooring, and general construction tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
- Follow project plans, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with installations, repairs, and finishing work as needed.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team members regarding job progress and challenges.
- Perform additional construction-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or remodeling experience preferred.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools.
- Basic understanding of residential construction processes and jobsite safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time consistently.
- Ability to lift, carry, and work in various physical conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Carpentry and framing
- Trim work and finish carpentry
- Drywall installation and repair
- Flooring installation
- Painting and finishing
- Concrete work
- Remodeling and restoration projects
