Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews
- Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and proper aseptic protocols
- Manage acute and chronic pain conditions through targeted acupuncture therapies such as trigger point therapy and pain management techniques
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical records
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment adhering to all health regulations and safety standards
- Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance patient care
Qualifications
- Valid certification as an Acupuncturist with appropriate licensing in the state of practice
- CPR Certification and BLS Certification required
- Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and patient service excellence
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Prior experience with pain management strategies is highly desirable
