Transformation Lead is seeking an experienced Power BI Consultant with strong data visualization skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will excel at creating compelling dashboards, working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and supporting decision-making in a large organizational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with government and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure dashboards meet organizational needs and compliance standards.
- Translate complex data into compelling stories and visualizations for audiences at all levels.
- Optimize data models, DAX calculations, and queries for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to accessibility requirements in all reporting solutions.
- Provide training, guidance, and documentation to business users across multiple departments to enable self-service BI adoption.
- Stay current with Power BI and data visualization best practices to recommend continuous improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting, with at least 3 years dedicated to Power BI in large or complex organizations.
- Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
- Experience working with SQL databases and integrating multiple data sources.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in both technical and non-technical roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex data concepts.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience with Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, SQL, Analysis Services) or other cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and data governance best practices.
- Prior consulting experience in IT or analytics projects.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
