Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Transformation Health Services is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our outpatient mental health practice. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others and can manage multiple priorities while providing professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and manage check-in and check-out.
- Answer and direct phone calls and handle incoming correspondence.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate client flow with clinicians and staff.
- Collect and update client information, prepare documents, and maintain accurate records.
- Process patient payments and provide general administrative support.
- Maintain an organized reception area and protect client confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional phone etiquette, and an empathetic approach to client interactions.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with scheduling, data entry, payment processing, and common office software.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) software required; SimplePractice experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow confidentiality and privacy requirements.
- Availability to work in person in Virginia Beach, VA, during the stated schedule, subject to reasonable accommodations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous healthcare, behavioral health, receptionist, or client-facing administrative experience preferred.
