Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Personal Trainer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy, and the ability to design effective training programs for diverse clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help individuals achieve their health and fitness goals while working in a supportive gym environment dedicated to personal growth and client success.

Duties

  • Develop personalized training programs tailored to clients’ goals, fitness levels, and medical backgrounds.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, demonstrating proper exercise techniques and ensuring safety.
  • Educate clients on body mechanics, exercise physiology, and proper form to maximize results and prevent injury.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the gym or health club setting.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness strategies when appropriate.
  • Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and continuing education to enhance training skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience and certification in personal training, group fitness instruction, or teaching physical education.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles.
  • Ability to motivate clients and foster a positive training environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach effectively across different age groups and fitness levels.
  • Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of sports coaching can be an added advantage.
  • Nutrition certification a plus.
  • A passion for health and fitness with a professional attitude committed to helping clients succeed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $27.93 - $33.64 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 35 per week
