About the Pastoral Residency Program

The Transformation Church Pastoral Residency Program is designed to equip emerging leaders for pastoral roles, with a focus on holistic ministry development, theological formation, and multiethnic, multigenerational leadership. Residents will gain hands-on experience across all Transformation Church ministries and operations while being mentored by seasoned leaders.

Program Goals:

• Immerse in Transformation Church’s vision, values, beliefs, and holy habits
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of church operations and ministry contexts
• Engage in theological studies and practical ministry leadership
• Serve within multiethnic, multigenerational communities
• Prepare for pastoral leadership roles

Key Responsibilities

Residents will:

• Learn about the preparation and delivery of sermons and teachings
• Develop a Christ-centered and healthy inner life through prayer, study, and mentorship
• Serve in a variety of ministry areas within a multiethnic and multigenerational context
• Attend leadership and theological training sessions
• Support event planning, program development, and volunteer/servant leader coordination
• Collaborate with pastors, staff, and servant leaders in furtherance of ministry goals

Desired Qualifications

• A strong sense of calling to pastoral ministry
• Commitment to the vision, values, and beliefs of Transformation Church
• Desire to learn and grow in a multiethnic, multigenerational church environment
• A Master’s degree from an accredited theological institution or an equivalent combination of education and ministry experience is necessary
• Strong relational, communication, and organizational skills
