TransForce is seeking a CDL B Driver to support local operations based in Hammond, IN.  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 



CDL B Driver Details

• Schedule: Tuesday -Friday 7:30am-4pm
  
• Pay: $27.00/hr OT after 40
  
• Route Type: Local, Home Daily!
  
• Freight / Load Type: Food, restaurant supplies, must get slips signed
  
• Equipment: automatic transmission box trucks
  
• Handling: Heavy touch delivery of restaurant supplies and food items, loading and unloading of truck required, pallet jack and dolly provided
  
  CDL B Driver Minimum Requirements:  
  
  
  
  
  • License: Class B
    
  • Experience: 1 verifiable driving experience
    
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
    
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
    
    CDL B Driver Responsibilities:  
    
    
    
    
    • Safely operated equipment on local routes
      
    • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
      
    • Perform required handling tasks
      
    • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
      
    • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
      
    • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
      
    • Meet the physical demands of the role
