About the Position
TransForce is seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver for a local, on-site driving opportunity in Laurel, Maryland. This position involves light-touch freight handling and an automatic-transmission vehicle.
Pay & Schedule
- $24.80 - $26 per hour with OT after 40 hours
- Monday - Friday, dispatch between 3 AM and 6 AM
Key Responsibilities- Operate a CDL A truck safely on local routes.
- Complete assigned deliveries and pickups of paper and janitorial products according to schedule.
- Handle freight using light-touch procedures, using a pallet jack to unload.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all applicable DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements- CDL Class A license.
- 2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Ability to operate an automatic-transmission truck and perform light-touch freight handling.
