Position Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining Transfluid® equipment at customer locations throughout North America.
This position requires approximately 75% travel, with technicians home most weekends (about 85% of weekends at home). Per diem is provided for all travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Install machines and provide customer/operator training
- Perform new machine intake, testing, and run‐off
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field
- Provide phone and remote technical support to customers and operators
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on machines
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate service logs
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, HMI, and computer knowledge required
- Solid understanding of industrial machine operation fundamentals
- Knowledge of automation and robotics
- Basic math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks efficiently
- Willingness to travel throughout North America (USA, Mexico, Canada) and occasionally to Germany
- Knowledge of Siemens controls is preferred but not required
