Transdev in City, State is hiring an Accounting/Payroll Clerk. The Accounting/Payroll Clerk assists the General Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll functions. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Non-CBA Position:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $21.00 – Maximum $26.00

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Payroll entry into Mobi
• Reports/Reconciliation of Payroll
• Put together paychecks and distribute on payday
• Attendance tracker
• Assist AGM with monthly corporate and client reports
• Front Door monitor back up for all incoming guests to building
• Billables back up
• Customer service for employees with questions on payroll/attendance/PTO/benefits
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
• Computer literacy, 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-0% of this position works outside but you may work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
