Parts Clerk

Transdev in Boston, MA is hiring a Parts Clerk. The Parts Clerk performs basic vehicle servicing, cleaning and fueling with limited supervision. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

• $29.08-$29.08 per hour starting payrate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order, receive and stock parts; maintain storage area
• Processing invoices for parts received
• Assisting in inventory accuracy
• Computer data entry & pulling reports
• Maintain files and other related records
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of parts room experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Computer literate with strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work shift or flexible work schedules as needed
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Sit and stand for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
