Driver/Operator Trainer
Transdev in Englewood, CO is hiring a Driver/Operator Trainer to facilitate classroom and behind-the-wheel training to drivers. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Non-CBA Position: Competitive compensation package of $28.54/hr – $36.35/hr (DOE)
Benefits include:
• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel training to new drivers
• Maintain required training documentation and completion for compliance with state certification, company policies and district, state & federal requirements.
• Additional safety program responsibilities such as, accident investigation, forms compliance, & safety meetings
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Valid Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsements for a minimum of 2 years.
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)
• 1 to 2 years transportation & safety experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state safety rules and regulations.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
