We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Modesto, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• $22.00 - $30.70 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale)
• Starting pay $22.00 with progression to $30.70 over 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently.
• Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment.
• Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns.
• Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.

Qualifications:

• 21 years or older
• Valid drivers license for a minimum of 3 years
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Punctual with an emphasis on attendance.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to XX pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
