Director, Project Management

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Director, Project Management to join our Smart Mobility Ecosystems team.

Summary

Experienced engineering leader specializing in the end-to-end development and technical project management of transportation and smart mobility solutions. Proven track record in delivering complex technical products both roadside infrastructure and back-end system interfaces. Adept at guiding multidisciplinary teams through the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through implementation, integration, and operational deployment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technical product development projects, ensuring seamless integration between roadside systems and all interfaces.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation plans, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project performance, implement process improvements, and drive accountability across all stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and guide project managers and team members to foster professional growth and development.
  
  

Requirements And Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (required).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of experience managing product development projects, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the development process and related system interfaces to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, tolling technologies, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
