Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with a strong emphasis on Figma expertise and modern design workflows. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be crucial in creating visually appealing, accessible, and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing website layouts, user interfaces, and graphics, with a key responsibility for building high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in Figma. You will work closely with our development team to ensure designs are functional, responsive, and optimized for performance and search engines. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of our clients' businesses.

Objectives of the Role:

• Translate client business goals and user needs into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and technically sound digital experiences.
• Manage the complete user journey lifecycle from concept to handoff.
• Ensure all designs maximize usability, conversion, and accessibility across all devices.
• Deliver high-fidelity interactive models and experience using expert-level Figma prototyping.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-fidelity website layouts, user interfaces, and engaging graphics, prioritizing a user-centric approach.
• Develop and manage high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in Figma to demonstrate complex user flows, navigation logic, and complete product functionality.
• Utilize Figma's advanced prototyping features, including Smart Animate and conditional logic, to accurately simulate the user journey and interaction models.
• Use Figma and relevant plugins to generate wireframes and basic layouts, accelerating the initial design process.
• Employ plugins or methods to review prototypes for UI, UX, accessibility, and copy issues, ensuring a high-quality final product ready for testing.
• Integrate UX Writing principles directly into the prototypes, using Figma to manage and optimize copy effectively for clarity and conversion within the user flow.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless website functionality, optimization, and accurate implementation of the prototyped interactions.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, web design, and Figma capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences, translating their needs into effective prototype solutions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High-level proficiency in Figma for UI/UX design, specifically focusing on advanced prototyping and user flow mapping.
• Proficiency in UI design, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator), and WordPress.
• Strong understanding of user interface design, visual design principles, and information architecture.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices as they relate to design structure and performance.
• Accurate documentation skills of client communication, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-track environment.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and communicate across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse teams within an organization.
• Open to travel for client visits. – English and Spanish fluency preferred.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree: Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

2 to 4 years of professional experience focused on UI/UX design for web platforms and sites.

Proven experience in a client-facing or agency environment is highly desirable.
