Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

• Assists in preparing press and all job components for print job (loading specified anilox, ink, film, etc.)
• Manually checks viscosity of ink on an hourly basis
• Makes changes to inks as needed during printing
• Retrieves and returns ink to and from ink room and cleans machine for next job
• Helps perform preventative maintenance tasks on machine
• Performs rework as necessary

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

• Ability to read a measuring tape
• Desire to learn
• Must have basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Production experience

Working conditions:

• Inks and solvents create strong odor in the plant.
• Frequent standing and walking during working hours.
• Frequent sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (8 hours/day).
• Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
• Overtime may be required
