Job Summary
The responsibility of this position is to be available and proactive in addressing driver concerns and needs. The capable candidate for this position needs a sharp attention to detail, they need to be self-motivated and be able to find the nuances in similar situations.
Essential job duties include:
- Ensuring CMV drivers adhere to FMCSA & DOT compliance pre and post hire.
- Monitoring driver alerts to ensure continued qualification.
- Reviewing medical situations to determine what follow up actions may be required.
- Renewing and dispersing DOT required permits.
- Reviewing and coaching drivers on forward facing camera captured events.
- Reviewing, coaching and disciplining drivers on DOT HOS violations.
- Being available for phone calls from our driving partners.
- Proactively coaching drivers in problem areas.
- Uploading and organizing personnel files.
- Training other employees in all the above as assigned.
- Various projects as needed.
