Proposal Writer
Location: Kennewick, WA
Schedule: Part time, fully onsite
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, organized Proposal Coordinator/Writer to support business initiatives by preparing and managing RFP/RFQ responses, qualification packages, and marketing materials. This role works closely with Senior Management and contributes directly to the firm’s growth. This is a part time role (20 hours/week) in Kennewick, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate responses to RFPs, RFQs, and award applications.
- Research, edit, and verify proposal content for accuracy and compliance.
- Handle lead tracking, proposal progress and managing deadlines.
- Produce digital and print materials for proposals and marketing using MS Office and Adobe InDesign.
- Be engaged in event coordination and social media presence.
- Liaise with vendors and maintain up-to-date marketing and proposal materials.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 5 years or more experience in proposal coordination, marketing, or communications for an A/E or construction firm.
- Experience with RFQs/SOQs
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Professional demeanor with strong communication, editing, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license
- U.S. citizenship required
Preferred:
- Strong technical writing, proofreading and graphic design skills in A/E/C.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or business.
