Transcend Medicine is launching a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy clinic in Miami, dedicated to transforming mental health care through innovative, evidence-based approaches. Our model integrates ketamine therapy with preparation, in-session care, and post-treatment integration, emphasizing the importance of 'set and setting' in achieving positive outcomes. While ketamine marks our starting point, we are committed to expanding into future psychedelic therapies as research develops.
Role Description
This is a fully remote position. You will conduct patient evaluations and prescribe ketamine via telehealth, develop and maintain clinical protocols in collaboration with our on-site team, and provide on-call supervision during session hours. Our on-site RN handles administration and monitoring; your role is clinical oversight, evaluation, and the prescriber relationship. This model is intentionally designed to give you flexibility. If you have an existing practice or other clinical commitments, this role is structured to fit alongside them.
Who We're Looking For
- Active Florida MD, DO, or APRN license in good standing
- DEA Schedule III registration (or eligibility and willingness to obtain)
- Genuine interest in ketamine-assisted therapy and the broader psychedelic medicine landscape
- Comfort with telehealth as a primary care modality
- Collaborative orientation: you'll be working closely with therapists and clinical support staff who care deeply about the patient experience
Prior ketamine or psychedelic medicine experience is a plus, not a requirement. We are as interested in clinical values and curiosity as we are in a specific resume. Training will be sponsored for the right applicant.
Compensation
Per-encounter contractor structure. Compensation is competitive with the remote ketamine prescriber market and scales with session volume. Details provided to candidates moving forward in the process.
