Position: Cleaning Specialist

Location: Boston, MA

Shift: Evening Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hourly Pay: $22 – $23 per hour (based on experience)

Ideal Experience Includes:

• Commercial, office, institutional, or government facility cleaning

• Deep cleaning and sanitization of restrooms and shared facilities

• Detailed vacuuming, including baseboards, corners, edges, and under furniture

• Proper sweeping, mopping, and general floor care

• Knowledge of disinfection and sanitation best practices

• Strong awareness of high-touch surfaces and potential contamination areas

• Confidence in identifying and correcting small cleaning concerns proactively

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and high-traffic spaces

• Dust and clean furniture, ledges, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces

• Refill restroom and facility dispensers using client-provided consumable supplies

• Empty, clean, and re-line trash and recycling receptacles

• Clean entrances, hallways, offices, conference rooms, and other assigned areas

• Safely use and maintain janitorial tools, chemicals, and equipment

• Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures

• Communicate facility needs, damage, or maintenance concerns to supervisors

• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while working at the facility

• Assist with additional cleaning duties and special projects as assigned
