What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Courier position at Trans Time Express?
We are the most reliable courier service in Pennsylvania looking for a responsible independent contractor. Applicants must have your own vehicle with a good driving record, great customer service with a professional attitude, a clean and presentable appearance, a smartphone to download our courier app, a GPS, ability to multitask, time management skills, strong communication skills and a solid attendance record. Candidates are subject to background checks and drug screening upon hire. Previous experience as a courier and knowledge of Ephrata, Lebanon and surrounding areas is a plus. May be asked to lift packages up to 50 lbs. if necessary. Must have an EIN number or be willing to get one before being hired.
We are looking to fill one Full- time position in the Lebanon and Ephrata area from 9am-5pm Mondays through Fridays with flexibility to start earlier if needed.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $150.00 a day
To keep our couriers safe during COVID, we provide hand sanitizer and have standard safety protocol in place.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport medical supplies and equipment to various locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to walk a significant distance with no issues.
- Utilize GPS for efficient route planning and timely deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
