Laborer (CDL)

We are currently seeking a Laborer for our Norman, Oklahoma location. This position will be responsible for aiding and assisting lineman for aerial construction.

Essential job duties include:

• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes. Tend pumps, compressors, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment, or to heat and move materials such as asphalt.
• Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Pull in conduit Fiber optic cable and copper cable.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
• Operate commercial motor vehicle hauling equipment.
• Enforces company and customer safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Supports, complies with, and participates in HSE Program.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL class A driver's license.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• 1 year of laborer construction experience.
