Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily in ‑ clinic laboratory operations and on ‑ farm embryo transfer activities
- Perform technical embryology procedures including oocyte maturation, embryo searching and grading, freezing and thawing, loading, and embryo transfer
- Maintain laboratory quality control standards, equipment functionality, and adherence to established protocols
- Organize, document, and communicate embryo information with client services teams and recipient herds
- Delegate tasks and provide guidance to embryologists, production assistants, and interns
- Lead and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives and performance metric tracking
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues within standard operating procedures
- Maintain clear, professional communication with team members, veterinarians, supervisors, and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Biology, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of embryology experience (experience with Trans Ova Genetics preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to consistently produce accurate, high ‑ quality technical work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client ‑ focused approach
- Ability to work extended hours, up to 14 hours per day, during peak seasonal periods (April–June, November–December)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to organizational standards and continuous development
