What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician position at Tranquility Woods?
We are exploring a new business venture and seeking to partner with a Functional Medicine physician to lead and operate a health and nutrition clinic in the Annapolis–Arnold area.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed MD or DO with advanced training and experience in Functional Medicine, practicing a patient-centered, systems biology approach to care. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, this physician will prioritize identifying and addressing the root causes of chronic illness, integrating clinical insight with evidence-based, whole-person strategies.
This role emphasizes a personalized, proactive model of care, incorporating comprehensive lifestyle assessment, environmental and genetic considerations, and individualized treatment plans. Care protocols may include therapeutic nutrition, targeted supplementation, lifestyle optimization, stress management, and preventive strategies, tailored to each patient’s unique biology and health goals.
The physician will have the opportunity to shape the clinical vision and operational framework of the practice, working collaboratively to build a high-quality, integrative clinic focused on long-term patient outcomes, education, and sustainable wellness.
Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
