We are a compassionate long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and comfort to our residents. Our team works together to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, and wash residents’ personal laundry and facility linens according to established procedures.
- Dry, fold, and distribute clean laundry promptly and accurately.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents’ belongings.
