We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead and support our nursing team in a long-term care setting. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including scheduling, mentoring, and performance management.
- Coordinate resident care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and evaluate resident outcomes, addressing concerns promptly.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Must have ventilator experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
