  • Help connect and validate communication between PLCs, networked devices, and plant systems
  • Assist with basic Ignition development tasks, including tag setup, screen updates, and data visibility improvements
  • Support industrial networking activities such as device configuration, connectivity checks, and communication troubleshooting
  • Work with engineers to identify and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues on manufacturing equipment
  • Document programming changes, test results, and troubleshooting steps for automation projects
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts that improve equipment reliability, process efficiency, and operational visibility

Minimum Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, or similar industrial automation software
  • Basic knowledge of industrial communication concepts such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus, TCP/IP, RS232, or RS485
  • Experience with sensors, actuators, relays, and other control system components
  • Exposure to manufacturing, maintenance, controls, or automation-related projects
  • Experience with technical documentation, data collection, and basic analysis
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting tools such as Python is a plus

What You’ll Learn
