Where Is The Work

On-Site (5 days)

Essential Functions

Set-up and operate various machines and equipment to cut, bend, shape, shear, punch, drill, and/or test raw materials, parts, components and/or assemblies.

Minimum Qualifications

❑ Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department.

❑ Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for specific department.

❑ Take Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better.

❑ Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance

Introductory Level: Primary focus is learning the process

• Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 Months)

❑ Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance: Press brakes, *CNC punches, and *laser machines. (* if applicable)

❑ Demonstrate ability to make proper adjustments on related machinery and/or equipment with assistance.

❑ Demonstrate ability to produce quality parts within acceptable scrap rate.

❑ Able to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced with assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements for the department.

❑ Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs).
