We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Attendant/delivery driver to join our team. As a Counter Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while managing food and beverage orders. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a counter associate you are also required to have a reliable car and drivers liscense and be able to take deliveries as needed
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Operate the toast POS system for processing transactions.
- Package and serve food and beverages according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or PIZZERIA environment is REQUIRED
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
