Position: Shipping Team Floater
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to $16.50/ H. Dependent of experience.
Position Summary
We are seeking a bright, energetic Warehouse Shipping Clerk for a full-time position, working out of our Flowery Branch office. The successful candidate will primarily be in charge of packing/ downsizing/ moving inventory and also performing cycle counts, but may also need to occasionally pick and process labels. Everyone is crossed trained for shipping.
Requirements
A candidate for this position must:
- Be naturally energetic, fast-moving person
- Be assertive and mature, with good people/communication skills
- Have an easy, innate aptitude with computers, systems and numbers
- Be detail oriented and highly motivated
- Have a questioning, analytical personality that is always looking for a better way to do things
- Be able to work extended hours as needed
- Be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift larger packages up to 60 pounds
- Be willing to perform daily warehouse cleaning and organizing tasks
- Have a flexible “can-do” attitude and be willing to tackle a wide variety of tasks
- Have the ability to work for long periods of time on your feet and climb rolling ladder as needed
- Focus on Overall and Individual Performance Metrics
- Be looking for a full-time permanent position
- Be able to pass our drug-free workplace screening
