Duties
- Provide daily care enrichment and attention to dogs and farm animals, ensuring their well-being and safety
- Engage in outdoor work activities such as feeding, cleaning, and maintaining animal living areas and habitats
- Handle animals with kindness and patience, respecting their agency and treating them with gentle, respectful handling at all times
- Assist with basic farm chores related to animal husbandry, including grooming, monitoring health, and supporting routine veterinary care when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe indoor and outdoor environment for the animals and team members
- Support the team in ensuring that all animals are treated ethically and with compassion
- Contribute positively to a team of friendly, fun people who share a love for animals
Requirements
- Experience working outdoors in a farm or similar setting preferred
- Prior experience with animal husbandry is highly desirable
- Friendly, positive attitude with a strong sense of honesty and integrity
- Ability to handle animals gently and respectfully at all times
- Willingness to perform physically demanding outdoor work regularly
- Interest in developing an entry-level career working with dogs and farm animals
