Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and service standards. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing food production, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests. The Kitchen Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality food service, efficient inventory control, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Oversee menu planning, food presentation, and quality control to meet fine dining standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs through effective inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Lead shift management by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining team productivity.
  • Oversee catering events and special functions, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Train new staff members on food handling, preparation techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with management on menu development and operational improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment conducive to high-quality food production.

Experience

  • Proven banquet experience with a strong background in catering or large-scale event service.
  • Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably within fine dining or culinary operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of food production, menu planning, and kitchen management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Experience in inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management systems and food service management practices.
  • Prior experience in the food industry with a focus on culinary excellence and customer satisfaction is highly desirable.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
