Overview:
Trailhead Community in Littleton, Colorado, is currently seeking Part-Time Concierge Staff to join our neurodiverse community - we are home to adults with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities and neurotypical individuals alike. We are seeking a dedicated individual to help create a culture of community, interdependence, and engagement at Trailhead. Key Responsibilities:
- Foster Community Connection: Encourage and facilitate social connections among residents, promoting resident-led activities and events that strengthen community ties.
- Resident and Visitor Support: Greet residents, visitors, prospective residents, and families, offering general assistance and orientation to the community.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to routine inquiries and emergencies, and relay important messages to the Community Manager.
- Safety Monitoring: Ensure the safety of residents and property by overseeing surveillance cameras, door and building alarms, and investigating any unusual activity.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including the visitor sign-in/out book, guest room reservations, and maintenance work orders.
- Event Coordination: Assist in managing building events, fostering social connections, and promoting resident participation.
- Administrative Support: Provide support to the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager with administrative duties.
- Technology Assistance: Offer basic tech support to residents, helping them navigate the building's technology.
- Package and Delivery Management: Receive and manage deliveries, including packages, groceries, and food orders, as requested by residents.
- Building Tidiness: Perform light cleaning tasks (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping) and maintain common areas, including community bathrooms and the beverage bar.
- Resident Engagement: Encourage residents to take ownership of the community by participating in building maintenance tasks like trash collection, sweeping, and game/puzzle organization.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve resident concerns, keeping the Assistant Community Manager informed of any issues.
- Training & Compliance: Complete all required staff training, including First Aid/CPR, disability rights, trauma-informed care, and kitchen safety.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with any additional tasks needed to ensure the smooth running of the community.
Requirements:
- 1 years of previous experience as a concierge/front desk/receptionist preferred.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience in office skills and computer software.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently.
- Ability to move around the building during your shift
- Ability to use vision to monitor security camera screens and computer tablets
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
