Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Administer injections and other clinical procedures within scope of practice
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming patient experience
- Follow clinic policies, procedures, and infection control standards
- Work collaboratively with providers and team members to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with phlebotomy
- Experience administering injections
- Proficient in obtaining and documenting vital signs
- Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Family medicine or primary care experience is a plus
