Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a District Sales Manager located in Nampa, ID. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of sales professionals, drive sales growth across your assigned district, and ensure excellent customer experiences. Responsibilities include setting strategic sales goals, monitoring key performance metrics, providing coaching and training, managing budgets, and fostering collaboration between teams to achieve organizational objectives. The District Sales Manager will be a key liaison between the corporate office and retail stores, ensuring consistency in operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Details:
- Develop, motivate, and lead your district of 5-7 stores to achieve sales and operational goals, guiding your stores to success
- Grow your team - hire, train, and have ongoing development to help promote from within. As you become effective in your position and develop your team, grow your stores to Senior Store Management status
- Have great enthusiasm for our trailers and our customers
- Weekly meetings with C-Level leadership to discuss business needs and drive future plans
Qualifications:
- Sales and customer relationship management skills, including experience in achieving sales goals and building strong client relationships.
- Team leadership and coaching abilities with experience in leading sales teams to achieve their performance targets.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, budget management, and performance analysis for achieving organizational objectives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and engagement with teams and customers.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and addressing challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in using business and sales software tools; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the trailer, automotive, or manufacturing industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel within the district as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated past ability to lead a sales team
- Travel quarterly to your district stores, performing on-site evaluations to build action plans for store success
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and apply accountability to your team
Upon starting with TrailersPlus, candidates undergo a 12 week training period with existing District Managers and other department leaders prior to assuming responsibility for their district.
Pay Rate: Competitive base salary with an aggressive monthly bonus plan based on the achievement of sales and operational goals. Successful District Managers can earn $90k - $120k and above for excellent sales performance.
