Trailer Source is the Upstate's largest trailer dealership, specializing in utility, equipment, enclosed, dump, and custom trailers. We're looking for an experienced technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, working independently, and taking pride in quality workmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair trailer mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform brake, bearing, axle, suspension, and hub repairs
- Install trailer accessories and upgrades
- Troubleshoot wiring, lighting, and charging systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards
- Maintain accurate repair notes and parts usage
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work efficiently to meet established service turnaround goals
Qualifications
Required
- 1-3 years of mechanical repair experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to diagnose problems without constant supervision
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Positive attitude and dependable attendance
Preferred
- Trailer repair experience
- RV, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, diesel, or automotive technician experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Brake and axle replacement experience
- Bearing and suspension repair experience
