We are seeking a motivated Executive Producer to lead the creation of immersive gameplay trailers that excite gamers worldwide.
As an Executive Producer at DBC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production and delivery of captivating video game trailers. This position blends strategic account management with deep understanding and experience in game capture and video production.

Base salary pay range for this position is below.
$140,000—$175,000 USD

We are seeking a motivated Executive Producer to lead the creation of immersive gameplay trailers that excite gamers worldwide.
As an Executive Producer at DBC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production and delivery of captivating video game trailers. This position blends strategic account management with deep understanding and experience in game capture and video production.
IMPORTANT CALL-OUTS
- This job requires 100% on-site work at our Dark Burn Creative offices in Woodland Hills, California
- Candidates local to Woodland Hills will be prioritized
- Extensive experience working with video game clients in the area of creating and producing game trailers is absolutely required
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships. Understand client goals and translate them into creative briefs for production teams.
- Lead multiple projects concurrently from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Review and provide feedback on gameplay capture, editing, and post-production processes to ensure alignment with client expectations and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to game capture, editorial, motion graphics, sound, and finishing.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans for client engagement, project pipeline management, and business growth opportunities within the gaming industry.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, optimizing efficiency and profitability while maintaining high production values.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, gaming technologies, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., film, multimedia production, or communications) or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of industry experience producing trailers or advertising assets in entertainment or gaming required. Gameplay trailers are preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for gaming.
- Experience managing teams and using project management tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MSTeams, Slack, Airtable
- Strong passion for video games and a good understanding of gaming culture.
- Proficiency with video games, video, and static digital assets specifications and nomenclature.
- Video and photo editing skills are a plus (knowledge of software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, etc. is a plus).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
