Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Painter/Sandblaster to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying industrial coatings, and installing decals on trailers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilites
- Prepare metal surfaces through sandblasting and abrasive blasting techniques.
- Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using conventional and airless spray equipment, brushes and rollers.
- Install decals and graphics on trailers with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure quality workmanship.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain sandblasting and painting equipment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- 1 years of industrial painting and/or sandblasting experience required.
- Experience operating spray painting equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. stand for long periods of time, and comfortably work in confined spaces, at heights, or in harsh weather (hot and cold).
- Comfortable working in industrial enviroments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses or material quantities.
