Barista

ABOUT OUR ROLE 

The Barista is responsible for creating exceptional guest focused Barista to provide experiences through the preparation and service of high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. This role combines product knowledge, efficiency, and hospitality to ensure every guest interaction is welcoming, accurate, and memorable.

ESSENTIAL 

FUNCTIONS 

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to brand standards 


• Provide friendly, engaging, and personalized service to all guests 


• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace 


• Operate POS system accurately for orders and transactions 


• Educate guests on menu offerings, including seasonal and specialty items 


• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met 


• Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management 


• Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly 


• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment care 


• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Previous barista or food & beverage experience preferred (but not required) 


• Strong customer service and communication skills 


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail 


• Basic math and cash handling skills 


• Flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays 


• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

PHYSICAL 

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.


• Ability to lift and move items up to 25–50 pounds such as tables, chairs, and banquet equipment.


• Ability to bend, reach, and carry items as needed for event setup and breakdown.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly during service.

SCHEDULE

Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality– on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

PAY RATE

$15.00 tips
