ABOUT OUR BARTENDER ROLE
We are seeking a professional and experienced Bartender to join our team Trailborn Surf and Sound, WBNC. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing and serving beverages to our guests. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to guests, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any concerns or issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a bartender
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in bartending or mixology
- Experience working in a resort or high-end establishment
- Knowledge of wine and food pairings
- Ability to speak multiple languages
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to remain upright and able to continuously move on a firm surface for an 8–10-hour shift.
- Must be able to move at least 20 pounds up to 5 feet high without another person's aid.
SKILLS
As a Bartender at Outlet 1, you will utilize your knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. You will also use your organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized bar area. Additionally, your communication skills will be essential in engaging with guests and addressing any concerns or issues. Multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment will also be important skills to have in this role.
SCHEDULE
Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality – on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
SALARY RANGE
$4.00 to $6.00 per hour with additional gratuity
