What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adventure Center Manager position at Trailborn Hotel Management LLC?
We are looking for an Adventure Center Manager to join our team of dedicated guest-oriented Champions. This role is critical in the delivery of our elevated guest experience.
- Responsible for managing entirety of adventure center services for Snow King Resort.
- Oversees the overall success of the adventure programs including; promotion, gathering feedback and creating solutions for perfection.
- Oversees hiring, training, and scheduling of associate team.
- Manages guidance, reviews, career growth and discipline of adventure team.
- Manages adventure departments budget and proposals.
- Monitors guest feedback and creates solutions to upper management on successes and room for improvement.
- Bring creativity to role and offers way to keep Snow King Resort guests experience unique.
- Address' Guest and Team concerns in a timely manner, and with a proactive and eager approach.
- Mitigates escalated guest request. Leads team meetings, create goal plans, and collaborate with other departments for success.
- Ensure adventure team is successfully filling the guest requests in a timely manner.
- Dedication to responding to inquiries within 1 hour and following up on completion of request.
- Possess strong problem solving and leadership abilities.
- Plan, organize and oversee guest programs including special in-house events, guided trips to national parks and booking guest itineraries with other preferred vendors
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with contracted vendors
- Responsible for purchasing, receiving, and merchandising products for the adventure center and gift shop
- Maintains detailed records inclusive of DOT operations, attendance at programs and events, registration information, invoicing, and guest charges
- Evaluates the effectiveness of guest programs and services through guest feedback, attendance records, financial analysis and adjusting as necessary to meet guests needs and financial goals
- Collaborates with other departments to determine guests and group needs
- Manages all incoming inquires via phone and email and responding in a timely manner
- Performs concierge type duties providing local and regional insights related to dining, recreation, and attraction.
- Takes initiative to deliver memorable experience for guests by going the extra mile and “Being the Difference”
Qualifications
- Experience leading in a guest facing hospitality role preferred.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance.
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a Background Check
- Ability to work flexible work schedule- weekdays/weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Computer proficiency.
- Intimate knowledge of local and regional area
- Experience managing guide operations preferred
