Position Overview
This role is ideal for a technician with solid foundational skills who takes pride in doing jobs correctly and efficiently. You’ll handle routine maintenance and light mechanical work while supporting senior technicians and helping keep the shop running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes efficiently and correctly
- Replace belts (serpentine, accessory)
- Perform transmission drain and fills
- Replace coolant hoses and related components
- Conduct basic inspections and report findings to service advisors or managers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all shop procedures and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Previous hands‑on automotive maintenance experience
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and shop equipment
- Understanding of routine maintenance services and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced shop environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred (Not Required)
- 2 years automotive maintenance or lube technician experience
- Experience working in a transmission or mechanical repair shop
- Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced repairs
