Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Clear tables efficiently, bus tables, and assist with host/hostess duties when needed
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
