About The Role
The role of the Production Lead is to successfully train personnel efficiently on specific processes to manufacture quality products and mentor new employees to acclimate them to the department and company.
Responsibilities
- Train others in the manufacturing of trailers for designated areas.
- Mentor new employees and acclimate them to Trail King
- Reads and interprets prints, specifications, manufacturing memos, engineering changes and job orders. Direct any questions that may arise to the shift supervisor.
- Performs stall inspection to ensure the trailer is completely functional and meets quality control standards.
- Operate overhead and jib cranes safely and proficiently.
- Follows all safety procedures and regulations.
- Provides training for the Safety Training Modules (STM’s) for new hires.
- Able to fill the role of Assistant Supervisor as needed.
Assumes additional responsibilities as needed.
Candidate Requirements
Has performed proficiently and has adequate knowledge of designated areas to successfully train other employees on the processes. Must have commendable work and attendance history. Must possess good verbal communication skills and ability to work with others. Must display a positive attitude and work ethic.
