About The Role
An Air, Electric & Hydraulic Technician will install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain air, electric and hydraulic systems and equipment. This role also involves installation, troubleshooting, testing, replacing and ensuring systems meet safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect and test trailer systems utilizing engineering drawings and schematics as well as identifying issues and diagnose malfunctions with use of test equipment.
Use diagnostic tools to determine the root cause of equipment failures and develop repair plans.
Work with Engineering, and other departmental staff to coordinate repair efforts to achieve proper functionality of trailers.
Ensure all systems are safe and meet operational requirements.
Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Candidate Requirements
Technical degree which includes areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical or industrial equipment technology preferred. 3 years’ experience with installing and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
