This position will oversee the staffing of all Restaurant/Club/Bar team members, along with food and beverage menu development, payroll, budgeting, product ordering & stocking, and event-based planning and the execution of operations for a full-service fine dining club/restaurant and a full-service club/restaurant bar. This position will oversee the staffing of all Restaurant/Club/Bar team members, along with food and beverage menu development, payroll, budgeting, product ordering & stocking, and event-based planning and the execution of operations for a full-service fine dining club/restaurant and a full-service club/restaurant bar. Essential Job Functions
- Establish and enforce all departmental policies, while ensuring all arena policies are maintained
- Create, train, and drive event-based service formats and standards
- Partner with the Culinary team in the planning and development for Club/Restaurants menus
- Plan, Develop, Implement, and Execute beverage specials
- Partner with all venue sponsors/partners and ensure compliance with all established partnership-related elements
- Partner with the Marketing team to drive the development of promotions to enhance the guest experience within the club/restaurant locations
- Ensure food quality in presentation and production throughout all Club/Restaurants
- Regularly review sales, costing, labor, and inventory through completion of event-based, weekly, monthly, and annual financial accountabilities
- Build and maintain the club/restaurant POS related and reservation systems to support the developing needs of the arena operations
- Maintain pertinent and relative operational checklists and side work duties
- Assist in the hiring, training, staffing, and scheduling of all Clubs/Restaurant team member positions
- Engage with restaurant guests at their tables and venue guests to ensure exceptional hospitality is always received for each event
- Engage with team members to ensure the standard of exceptional hospitality is always received and shown
- Assist with the resolution of all departmental guest service issues
- Follow and enforce policies associated with the safe service of all alcoholic beverages
- Enforce, execute, and maintain all safety, security, and sanitation standards throughout the venue
- Support the mentorship and development of Club/Restaurant supervisors and team members daily
- Thoroughly and accurately use all selected systems as appropriate for position (Purchasing, Point-of-sale, Work Force Management, and more)
- Ensure the achievement of financial goals within the Club/Restaurant department
- Conduct and oversee the ordering and inventory management aspects of the Club/Restaurant department
- Work closely with other team members and other departments to ensure department-specific procedures, tasks, and goals are met, consistent and effective communication occurs, efficient operational performance, and a positive reputation of the venue within the market/industry is maintained
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- 3 years of experience in food & beverage operations with 2 years in a supervisory/management capacity.
- Experience in a sport and/or entertainment venue with restaurant experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in multi-restaurant service types; fast casual, fine-dining, etc. strongly preferred
- Previous experience leading large teams; inclusive of supervisors and part-time team members (60 strongly preferred)
- Experience with computerized workforce management software is strongly preferred
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- English reading, writing, comprehension, math, and computer skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in implementing and operating Point of Sale, online reservations, and purchasing-related technology
- Keyboarding skills and computer proficiency with software knowledge, including MS Office - Excel
- Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates
- Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including – nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Employees will spend a portion of their day operating computer systems and other office equipment.
- Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
- Employees will be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
- Employees will be exposed to sharp objects, machines with moving parts, heat from ovens, burners, steam, trays, etc.
- Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
- Employees will be exposed to hazardous chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibrations throughout the shift.
- Employees may be exposed to hazards associated with moving vehicles and require strict adherence to safety protocols.
